Instalare

     Creaţi un folder numit ISO în rădăcina cardului vostru sau în rădăcina memoriei PSP Go. Apoi puneţi toate fişierele din arhiva de mai sus în x:/PSP/GAME/.
     În folderul ISO se vor pune toate jocurile [ legal copiate :D, repet legal copiate de pe torrenti :))))) ].

     Porniţi HEN-ul şi spor la jucat !!!

The following is a list of commonly asked questions regarding Total_Noob's HEN for firmware versions 6.20, 6.30, 6.31, 6.35, and any other firmware he may develop this for. Hopefully this will help clear up any questions people may have.

What is a HEN?
A HEN is a Homebrew Enabler. This means you can launch homebrew directly from the XMB without using a Loader (such has HBL). It is not a CFW so it usually can't launch ISOs unless there is an ISO Loader homebrew.

When will it be released?
Hen is available HERE

Will it be released for 6.30, 6.31, or 6.35?
Yes, eventually. We do not have a release date for these firmwares. We aren't psychic and can't see the future.

Should I upgrade from 5.03 GEN-C to use this?
I would suggest waiting until there is an ISO loader at least. Personally, I would wait until it had support for custom themes and plugins.

Should I upgrade from 5.00 M33 or 5.50 GEN to use this?
Why would you want to? This is made for people with the unhackable PSPs. Unless a permanent custom firmware is created for 6.20, I would NOT upgrade.
I already upgraded, is it possible to downgrade back to 5.03??
Total_Noob said he was going to make a "downgrade homebrew" but I do not know if that is only for the hackable PSPs or if all PSPs can do it. It's also possible to use Hellcat's Recovery Flasher to downgrade the older PSPs, however it would brick a newer PSP 2000, 3000 or a Go. Do not attempt any downgrade unless you know what you are doing 100%.

Will this let me play ISO, CSO, or PSX games?
Total_Noob will not be adding an ISO loader to this but there are several teams already working on an ISO Loader which will probably be available soon after the HEN is released. As for PSX games... that depends on if the popsloader plugin works on HEN, I guess.

If that doesn’t run isos, what’s the difference between TN Hen and a homebrew loader such as Half Byte Loader?

A CFW (custom firmware) is a bunch of hacks that enable iso loading, plugin support, recovery menu, etc… on old models of PSPs. The most famous work on CFW was performed by Dark_Alex. a CFW gets installed in the flash of the PSP, and overrides the Official firmware at startup. While the CFW patches the PSP firmware at boot time, for LCFW you need to patch the Ram after the Firmware is booted. From the end user’s point of view, this means that if you turn your PSP off, you will need to run the LCFW again (and, of course, the Hen before that) in order to activate it. Keep in mind that putting your PSP in “sleep” mode is not equivalent to turning it off. If you put your psp in sleep mode, the LCFW stays in Ram
    A Hen, as we said earlier, is a kernel exploit + a few patches that allows to run unsigned software, including ones that have access to kernel. It is a necessary tool to install and run a LCFW.

So Summary: CFW can not exist anymore in the current state of our knowledge, and is replaced by Hen+LCFW, which are a combination of a kernel exploit and some patches in the Ram to allow a “CFW-like” experience.

No one wants a HEN! Make a custom firmware already!
Make one yourself. You'll find that it's a lot harder than you think, so don't demand this.

[3000 4g CRASH] 6.20 TN-A/PSP-3000 Patch: O soluţie temporară care rezolvă crash-urile.

   În atenţia userilor care au probleme cu crash-urile pe modelele 3000 folosind patch-ul neoficial a lui Vflame. Câteva comentarii au indicat faptul că următoarea mişcare va pune capăt acelor crash-uri. Ţineţi minte că acest lucru nu este ceva permanent, trebuie să repetaţi paşii la fiecare homebrew care îl veţi rula, cel puţin până când apare 6.20 TN-B:

1. Porniţi HEN-ul normal (cu HBL+Patapon 2 Demo)
2. Când reveniţi în XMB scoateţi cardul din PSP.
3. Apăsaţi SELECT ca să porniţi VSH menu.
4. Selectaţi “RESTART VSH”.
5. Reintroduce-ţi cardul după ce aţi terminat cu restartul şi încercaţi acum orice homebrew. Ar trebui să pornească fără crash.
6. Repetaţi paşii 2-5 de fiecare dată când porniţi un homebrew.

1. open patapon and load hen, which will reset your psp.
2. check HEN is enabled by pressing select and you should see the vsh menu.
3. remove your mem card.
4. press select u see the vsh menu and choose restart vsh menu
5. after psp ram restarts, insert your mem card then go to ur homebrew and click on it and everything should load and it doesent crash and so far works perfectly !!
6. follow steps 3 & 4 evertime u start a new homebrew.

5. Porniti HBL si apoi HEN-ul se va instala automat.

6. Dupa ce s-a restartat psp-ul din modul de joc apasati SELECT si dezactivati VSH meniul.
7. Rulati Prometheus Iso Loader si apasati X pe jocul dorit din lista.
8. Enjoy!

Se pare ca unii oameni cu PSP-300X au probleme cu acest HEN asa ca deja s-a scos un update neoficial. Pentru update pur si simplu inlocuiti vechiul EBOOT.PBP cu noul EBOOT.PBP

Iar pentru utilizatorii de PSP go carora nu le porneste HEN-ul. S-a gasit un fix. In folderul de la HBL deschideti hbl_config.txt si stergeti "#" din fata liniei override_sceIoMkdir=-1.

Am mai invatat o chestie astazi. Se pare ca pentru utilizatorii de PSP go ca sa pota rula plugin-uri in vsh.txt, game.txt si pops.txt in loc de ms0: trebuie sa scrie ef0:. Se pare ca ef0: este radacina memorie interne a go-ului.

UPDATE3

Câteva rezolvări pentru cei care întâmpină un crash:
1. Faceţi un Backup în PC la fişierele ce vă mai trebuiesc de pe memory stick-ul dvs. Formataţi-l din PSP. Începeţi instalarea HEN-ului pe stick-ul nou formatat.
2. Puteţi să vă jucaţi în hbl/hbl_config.txt. Încercaţi să schimbaţi diferite overrides sau alte opţiuni configurabile (nu recomand începătorilor, pe propriul risc).
3. Ştergeţi tot ce aveţi în ms0:/seplugins. Unele pluginuri nu sunt compativile cu 6.20 TN-A.
4. Dezactivaţi vMenu (VisualMenu) dacă îl folosiţi.
5. Urmăriţi topicurile de pe forum. Nu sunteţi singurii care întâmpinaţi probleme. Reţineţi că e un update instabil:

UPDATE 

Prometheus Iso Loader

Si dupa cum ne asteptam a aparut si mult doritul ISO Loader pt HEN-ul lui TN.

Necesar:

• un PSP (100X, 200X, 300X, go)
• firmware oficial 6.20 + HEN-ul lui TN pt 6.20
• Prometheus ISO Loader (Download:

• imagini backup (.iso sau .cso) a jocurilor care le detineti "legal" pt testare. :D

Instructiuni:

1. Dezarhivati continutul arhivei in /PSP/GAME
2. Faceti un folder ISO in radacina memory stick-ului sau a memorie interne (in cazul go-ului)
3. Copiati backup-urile jocurilor in folderul ISO
4. Porniti ISO Loader-ul prin internediul HEN-ului si apoi porniti jocul.

OBS: Pentru cei care vor sa foloseasca M33 Driver am dump-at eu isofs_500.prx din ofw 5.00 si l-am adaugat ca attachment la post. Ca sa il instalati pur si simplu il copiati in folderul ISO Loader-ului.

Half-Byte Loader R109 şi wMenu 0.3 HBL rev 109 şi wMenu 0.3

Ultima versiune stabilă. Rapidă şi sigură, aceasta este versiunea în prezent recomandată.

 

Cum să instalaţi şi folosiţi HBL:

1. Conectaţi PSP-ul la PC prin cablu
2. Copiaţi folderul "UCUS98734" (Patapon 2 Demo) în ms0:/PSP/GAME
3. Copiaţi folderul “hbl” si fisierul “h.bin” (HBL rev 109) în ms0: (le copiaţi pe root)
4. Copiaţi folderul "UCUS98732_DATA02" (Salvarea Patapon 2) în ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA
5. Copiaţi orice homebrew vreti sa rulaţi în ms0:/PSP/GAME
6. Porniţi demo-ul, încărcaţi salvarea, după care porniţi orice program doriţi.

How to Install Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-C for ChickHEN

Requirements:

• A PSP-3000 or PSP-2000 with TA-088v3 motherboard.
• A PSP with ChickHen R2 up and running
• Download: 5.03 GEN-C
• Back up your save files (so that if they get corrupted, you still have backups)

How to Install Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-C for ChickHEN

Before you proceed to installing custom firmware 5.03 GEN-C, you need to install ChickHen R2 on your PSP first. Just click the picture on the right to install ChickHen R2 and comeback here to finish the installation.

How to Install 5.03 GEN-C

• Make sure your PSP has ChickHen R2 installed. You won’t be able to install 5.03 GEN-C without it.
• Extract the 5.03 GEN-C files to your computer.
• Copy the PSP folder to your PSP’s memory stick. (Yes, just drag the whole folder there)
• Disconnect the PSP from USB
• Run 5.03 GEN-C Updater from under Game on your PSP’s XMB
• After all process is complete, press X. Your PSP will reboot.
• Congratulations, you’ve just installed 5.03 GEN-C.

Important Note: If this is NOT the first time that you’ll be install 5.03 GEN-C (meaning you accidentally turned off your PSP and had to reload 5.03 GEN-C again), hold the L trigger (Left shoulder button) when running the updater.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Compatible with the PSP-3000 and PSP-2000 v3 official firmware 5.03
• Play backups of games that REQUIRE PSP firmware 6.10 and above
• Reading UMD that that REQUIRE PSP firmware 6.10 and above
• Reading UMD / ISO games protected against the custom firmware. Playing UMD / ISO games protected against the custom firmware.

Troubleshooting:

If you experience problems like non-working games, or games that give the error “game could not be started” try the following:
Make sure your UMD mode is set to M33 driver

• On your XMB, press select, to access the VSH menu
• Select M33 driver for the UMD mode option as shown below:

Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-D3 Final Released

As we all know, yesterday's release of Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-D3 didn't really went well as planned with some users reporting various problems using the firmware update. So what's the reasons behind the hiccups and what's new with the latest release?

A little less than 24 hours after our previous release, here is the Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-D3 fully functional, we will try to respond quickly to the question everyone asks:

But what happened anyway?

As you all noticed last night the server was "slightly" faltered under the weight of multiple connections, and F5 desperate that most of us were abused, awaiting the arrival of new custom firmware.

[NEW] Custom Firmware Releases

As other threads are about one custom firmware for the PSP released. I decided to make a thread for most of them ALL into one thread.

Due to Exophase Downloads being launched, this thread will no longer be updated; now it will be reserved for the older Custom Firmware Versions.

In order to run these M33 Releases/Updates, you must have any (Phat or Slim) PSP with Custom Firmware already installed.

In order to run GEN Releases/Updates, you must have a PSP running 3.52 M33-3 or higher.

If you have Official Firmware, please do not ask if these updates/installers work, because they don't. They will be corrupted data or you will get an error like 8100248. Also, if you have a PSP Slim with a TA-088 V3 motherboard and/or PSP-3000, the custom firmware installers/updates will not work, and if they do, they will BRICK your PSP-3000 or [TA-088 V3] PSP Slim. (TA-088 V3 models come with firmware Version 4.00 or higher. The PSP-3000 comes with firmware 4.20 and higher.)



Installation Instructions:

(These instructions apply only to the M33 updaters of 3.80 M33 and higher. For other custom firmware installers, follow directions of the README.txt and/or the on-screen instructions.)

1.Unzip/Un-rar the #.## M33-# file and put the EBOOT.PBP into X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE (X is the root of the MemoryStick)

2. Put the ###.PBP also into X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder.

3. Start update from XMB.

Cum sa iti faci teme pentru PSP?

Cum sa iti faci teme pentru PSP?Voi posta aici un tutorial relativ simplu , iar temele rezultate vor fi in format *.ptf.Acestea vor fi rulate direct de pe PSP (fara programe ca cxmb) , iar de asemenea riscul de brick este de 0%.

Avem nevoie de :
-custom_psp_theme_creator http://www.fileshare.ro/1052115604.8
-un convertor de imagini (pentru a converti imagini in TGA/PNG)

A).Crearea temei
Prima data trebuie sa creem tema.
Descarcam custom_psp_theme_creator , dezarhivam cu arhivatorul preferat si rulam programul.
Vedem ca avem mai multe categorii :Information , Wallpaper , Category Icons , First Level Icons , Second Level Icons si Others.

Vom folosi convertorul de imagini , pentru a converti wallpaper-ul si iconitele in dimeniunile : 480*272 pentru wallpaper si 64*48 pentru iconite.Extensiile sunt urmoarele : BMP pentru wallpaper si TGA/PNG pentru iconite.

1.Incepem cu Information , unde completam cele 3 casute cum urmeaza : Title (numele temei) , Product ID (scriem orice) si version (versiunea temei -> 1.0).
2.Dam click pe Wallpaper.Aici va trebui sa inseram o imagine in format BMP si de rezolutie 480*272 , care va fi wallpaper-ul temei (imaginea de fundal).Dam click pe butonul "folder" si selectam wallpaper-ul.
3.Mergem la urmatoarea categorie , anume Category Icons.Aici sunt iconitele categoriilor (Settings , Photos , Music , Video , Game , Network , TV).Fiecarei categorii putem schimba iconita , sau o putem lasa pe cea default.Daca vrem sa schimbam iconitele va trebui sa creem propriile noaste iconite cu Paint (sau cu ceva de creat imagini) si sa le atasam temei.Cand avem iconitele create , dam click pe butonul "folder" pentru a selecta iconita fiecare categorii.
4.Navigam catre urmatoarea categorie , First Level Icons.Aici sunt iconitele secundare , cele de sub categoriile generale.Facem exact ca si la pasul 3 (creem iconitele si le atasam).
5.Megem la Second Level Icons.Aici sunt iconitele secundare (cele de sub iconitele primare).Facem exact ca la pasul 3 sau pasul 4.
6.Categoria Others e pentru a vizualiza iconit sau wallpaper inaitne de a le atasa in tema (pentru a le testa).In caz ca nu avem wallpaper , putem sa setam culoarea temei la Theme Color.
7.Pentru a transforma ce am facut pana acum in format *.ptf (pentru PSP) , trebuie sa dam click pe meniul File -> si alegem Export.Dam un nume temei (ex : PSP-Fanatik) , navigam unde vren s-o salvam si dam click pe Save.

B)Instalarea temei pe PSP
Dupa ce am creat tema , trebuie sa o "instalam" pe PSP pentru a o putea folosi.
1.Conectam PSP-ul la PC prin cablu USB.
2.Copiem tema facuta anterior in X:/PSP/THEMES (unde X este litera drive-ului PSP-ului).

C)Utilizarea temei
Pentru a utiliza tema , mergem la categoria Settins -> Theme Settings si selectam tema.

Mentionez ca programul Custom PSP Theme Creator nu este facut de mine , ci de firma Sony.
